The music of the duo has no boundaries, exploring multiple shapes of jazz music, from radical free jazz to traditional ballads from the swing era, even with brand new compositions in a nordish ecm/flavour jazz. VERSUS comes after several years of collaborations between these two musicians, who have shared stages and recording sessions in many circumstances.

Italian Jazz Book

The trio celebrates the music of some of the most important composers from the italian jazz scene: from Enrico Rava to Franco d'Andrea, from Daniele di Bonaventura to Andrea Allione and so on.

A jazzy chamber music with sophisticated textures between guitar, vibraphone and double bass. The trhee players acts like main character at the same time, a no-leader band in which the only leader is music.

K N O M

img_2514.jpeg

The new duo KNOM is composed of two young jazz musicians from Italy, Gabriele Boggio Ferraris on vibraphone/electronics and Alessandro Rossi on drums/electronics.
Both winners of 2018 prize “New Generation Jazz”, despite their young age they can boast several records and worldwide tour.
They have collaborated with great artists, such as Dave Douglas, Steven Bernstein, Hindi Zara, Andreu Panagiotis, and many more.

Their new band, K N O M is a unique dialogue between two worlds of percussions, acoustic and electrics: the result is an unexpected and multi-form music in witch every sound, every instrument is the main actor.
